Cupping
Cupping is a release which uses a suction to pull blood and fluid that is “stuck” up to the surface layers of the skin, when released, the newly oxygenated blood then flows back into the localized area to promote healing. This stimulates circulation, promotes faster elimination of waste products and helps to harmonize the energy pathways of the body.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (MLD)
MLD massage is quite a bit different from traditional massage techniques. MLD uses a light touch with circular motions to gently target the lymph vessels directly under the skin. This powerful but gentle therapy works with your lymph system to facilitate removal of waste products within the lymph vessels and nodes. It encourages healthy lymph flow which enhances your immune system, helps to reduce swelling, bruising, pain and speeds up recovery time. It is beneficial for pre and post surgery, pre and post natal, sports and Lipoedema. MLD is designed for long term results and must be received on a consistent basis for the best results. Ideally, a client should receive one 50 minute session per day for 5 days in a row, or until the therapist sees some specific results, then the client may progress to a maintenance schedule. One treatment alone, is only beneficial for about 24 hours and will not provide optimal results. If the client is not willing or able to follow the treatment protocol, I suggest not scheduling an MLD appointment, as optimal results will not be achieved.

MLD for the Head, Neck and Face
MLD was originally developed by Dr. Emil Vodder of Europe for the treatment of sinusitis. This therapy is a gentle, non invasive manual technique designed to enhance fluid movement through the lymph system of the head, neck and face to provide rapid results. This treatment is beneficial to relieve sinus congestion and stagnation, helps reduce under eye bags and puffiness, promotes circulation and increases oxygen supply, helps with the treatment of acne, reduces swelling, pain and bruising from cosmetic and surgical procedures.
